Integrating with Hubspot

To help you better manage your opportunities and reduce duplicate efforts, Recapped integrates directly into Hubspot through a bi-directional syncing method. With the integration you’re now able to sync opportunity and account level data directly into a Recapped content block.

To sync deal and company level data to your Recapped instance, first make sure that your integration is configured properly within your account settings.

Customize the field names, push, pull, labels, and tooltips for the fields you're syncing

Push determines what data you push to Hubspot from Recapped

Pull determines what data you pull from Hubspot into Recapped

  1. "Hubspot" is the field name in Hubspot. This can only be changed in HubSpot

  2. "Recapped Field" is the internal name our system will use. This can be the same as your "HubSpot Field"

  3. "Push" should be checked if you want to push data from Recapped into HubSpot

  4. "Pull" should be checked if you want to pull data from HubSpot into Recapped

  5. "Label" is the name of the field that will be shown in Recapped workspaces. Clients can see these, so make sure it's client-friendly.

  6. "Tooltip" will show up beside the "Label" to help guide your reps or customers on what information to fill in (For example, you can help enable reps with "Enter deal amount in USD here")

Make sure to hit the "Update" button at the bottom right when you're done!

Once you’ve confirmed the desired Deal & Company fields it’s time to add the fields into a template.

It's important to note, since this guide is for admins, the content block you add into the template, is the one that will appear every time a user selects this template for a workspace.

Start by selecting 'Edit Template':

Once you determine which Tab you’d like the Hubspot fields to live, select “Add Content”:

From there select the Hubspot Content Block:

Edit the fields to select the deal and company fields that are most relevant to the template:

The template will automatically save and will now be available (with the Hubspot fields) to all users!
