A new workspace should be created for each deal, engagement, or opportunity. Workspaces are shareable both externally and internally, and can be transferred to other users with ease.
To create a new workspace click the “+ New workspace” button on the left-hand side of your screen.
From there you will be directed to a collection of templates to choose from. The top of the list includes templates that have been saved by your teammates followed by templates that have been created by the Recapped team.
You can also create your own templates from scratch. After you have selected which one you want to use, click ‘use template.’
Once you have created the workspace using your template be sure to do the following:
Upload the [Account] logo
Update the Workspace Title
Sync the workspace to your CRM
From there, you’re all set to begin customizing your workspace. Be sure to review all of the tabs and fill in any relevant deal information!
The Benefits and Our Recommendations:
This section is a bit lengthy because we are very passionate about your success! 💙
1. Consolidate your entire deal in one place
✍️ Upload and consolidate content and files for your prospects.
🎯 Sellers and buyers are tired of hunting for attachments in email threads. Removing friction for your buyers will make you stand out from the competition.
2. Mutually agree upon next steps & assign due dates to prospects and team members
✍️ Our recommendation is to create a ‘Next Steps Tab’. This is what we call a Mutual Action Plan (MAP).
🎯 Mutual Action Plans have been historically beneficial in complex sales cycles.
“Suppliers that make buying easy are 62% likelier than other suppliers to win a high-quality sale (one in which the customer buys a premium offering).”
- Harvard Business Review
With Recapped, we’ve created a way to make it easier for you to create and implement MAPs with your buyers.
You and your buyers will build out your next steps together using milestones or deadlines (like when they need to implement this project by). Working backward from a critical event will improve the momentum and clarity of the process, thus closing deals faster.
🎉 Since this is a mutual action plan, you’ll be holding yourself and your buyers accountable for the assigned next steps and providing visibility into what’s next, instead of everyone being in the dark.
3. View prospect engagement and insights
✍️ In the ‘Activity Tab’, you can see how often they open and interact with their workspace.
🎯 This provides powerful insights into high-intent activities to guide your next call.
4. Chat in real-time and async
✍️ Communicate through Comments on any block.
🎯 Communicating through comments on specific content blocks will eliminate lost information and requests through other various channels. Consolidate your communication for your deals in one place.
What's the difference between a Template and a Workspace?
Template
A pre-customized playbook with pre-made tabs, content, checklists, and more.
💡 For an easy way to standardize a repeatable process, create a template for every rep to use.
Workspace
An individual, customized microsite for you and your customers for a specific deal.
💡 If you want to replicate a workspace that was effective in closing deals or managing complex implementations, you can expedite workspace creation by saving your workspace as a template and deleting the customization.
